My name is Jemimah Busola Odolo. I'm from Ondo state, ilaje to be specific. I'm d 6th child out of 8kids,The last girl though.both parent are from ondo state;ilaje. After my SSCE, I went to school of advance studies, then diploma in AAUA, I'm now rounding up in LASU studying history and international Studies.

HOW WAS GROWING UP LIKE, HOW WAS LIFE BEFORE YOU ENTERED THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?

Growing up was interesting cos I had a lot of elder ones around me, I was God fearing,my household was all about God and so I joined the choir at a tender age. It was interesting learning music in church and I started taking solos in church programs, other churches invited me for special programs and all. So from the very beginning, music has been my favourite thing,as time went on, I met a producer that worked in FESTAC and so I started visiting the studio

MANY MUSICIANS STARTED FROM THE STREETS AND ENDED UP IN THE BIG MUSICAL SCENE, TELL US YOUR STORY,HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE BIG SCENE OF MUSIC?

Well, my story started with my my trip to studio in FESTAC and there I got a hold of the news of 2Face trying to raise a band,I went for the audition And I was picked. I Was super happy tho. I was very smallish ...he called me smally...so thats how my journey to the big scene started.

WE HAVE HEARD ABOUT ARTISTS IN THEIR UPCOMING DAYS DOING REALLY CRAZY THINGS LIKE SLEEPING THEIR WAY TO THE TOP AND PAYING SOMEKIND OF "PERSONAL SACRIFICE" TO GET INTO THE BIG SCENE, WHATS YOUR TAKE ON THAT?

Except you don't believe in yourself, that's when that can be applicable to whom ever.if you are really talented and you believe in yourself,Don't allow any one fool you into messing yourself up 'cos at the end of the day, its about your talent not your body.

Look at me for example,I met 2face through the audition where I had to prove that truly I am talented and was accepted without any ceremony.So like the word of the lord states: "your talent would make a way for you". though its not easy but hold on and believe in yourself, it would come to pass. So to answer your question, if you are really talented, Please don't mess yourself up to make it, if you truly are talented then it would pave a way for You, just believe in You.

OK,WE'VE GOT REALLY TALENTED PEOPLE STILL ON THE STREETS AND YOU MADE YOUR WAY OUT, DID TIME AND SEASON HAPPEN TO EVERYONE OR WAS THERE SOME OTHER PRICE OUTSIDE YOUR TALENT THAT WAS PAID?

Apart from him been my boss,he is like a father and friend. whenever I record a song, I tend to wait for his advice before going ahead with the song. He gives me advice about life generally.

APART FROM 2 FACE, WHICH OTHER ARTIST HAVE YOU WORKED WITH?

Naeto C is the second major artist I do vocal back up for and other artist like Patoranking, G fresh, rocksteady, dammy krane, just to mention a few.

Also worked with Producers like Ekelly, Jsleek, Geofficial, Soja boy and so many my dear.

YOU'VE BEEN WITH 2FACE FOR PRETTY LONG WHILE NOW AND PEOPLE EXPECTED YOU SIGNING INTO HYPERTEK DIGITAL AND NEXT THING, AYEESHA MUSIC GROUP CAME INTO THE PICTURE. CAN YOU TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT THAT?

Yea I'm still very much with hypertek digital. Ayeesha music group is also my family just as hypertek is. Both parties are working on the best for me as an artist.Like I said initially, timing is everything, you must be ready to take on it. So both parties are on d same page concerning me

YOUR SINGLE "IN LOVE" WAS MORE LIKE AN R & B, BUT EARLY NOVEMBER, YOU RELEASED "STOP SHEY" WHICH WAS LIKE A DANCE GENERE AND YOU JUST GIVING A US TASTE OF DIFFERENT GENRE OF MUSIC. IS THERE ANY PARTICULAR TYPE OF MUSIC YOU DO OR YOU ARE JUST AN ALL ROUNDER?

I'm more of an R & B singer,sole singer. but to cut through to the street and others,I need to give it what it requires first. One of my new song titled "make u mine" featuring Gabriel Afolayan, it has an R N B feel to it.

I'm into freight forwarding also know as clearing and forwarding. I'm presently Working with my dad for now.

My take on that is this, well, its not about the physical virginity thing that matters but how you hold up yourself in esteem and integrity. So as a female artist, just be yourself, be a woman of value and self worth.

SO PRACTICALLY, YOU ARE TELLING US THAT BEING A VIRGIN DOESNT REALLY MATTER?

Its a plus no doubt but doesn't make you who you are. The real virginity is your self value, Abi naa, lol???
