Sunday March 22nd 2015 was a Black Sunday for All friends, families and relations of Evans Eboka as he was involved in a Fatal Car Accident along Lagos/Ibadan Express way where he
lost his life.
Tears rolled down the Eyes of many as his Catchy and Swagilicious personality got him being noticed by many while he still was alive.
I got the News yesterday and since then, even right now, I'm still in a very bad state.
Until his death, he was with NYSC 2014 Batch B and he graduated from the Department of Microbiology, University of Benin with the 2012/2013 Session.
Few of his friends sent in condolence messages, read a condolence statement from his friends as reported by www.poporination.blogspot.com
" It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you of the passing away of my friend Evans, He was involved in an auto accident which occurred on Sunday evening (I'm surprised it wasn’t reported) where 7-9 people lost their lives.
Evans was coming back from home after going to spend time with his family in Lagos and also attend a open house at Eko Hotels organised by a school abroad he wanted to enrol in for his Masters.
Before he was snatched away from us by the cold hands of death, Evans was a batch B corp member serving in Odo-Otin L.G.A of Osun state where we served together. Brimming with so much life, he was someone who lifted up the spirit in the room.
Only 21 years of age, he had so much he looked forward to and was just made CLO 2 weeks ago. A seasoned graduate of Microbiology, UNIBEN, Evans was destined for great things. Because of his perfect dress sense was voted and won best dressed and best swag @ the final year dinner and award night ceremony for 2013 session in his final year.
Full of life, blessed with a kind heart, fashionable and an amazing giver. A dedicated person, so much so that even when every other corpers didn't take their assignment seriously, Evans always said "my students must feel my impact before I leave this place" and it didn't come as any surprise that he was appointed CLO recently.
His demise leaves us his friends with a heavy heart and we cannot begin to comprehend what his family must be going through right now. he was a brother to me, in every sense of the word. the bestest of friends.
You were an amazing person and just like we both always joked:
you were too much for a person that you were named Evan(s)
the kindest of hearts, the sweetest of spirits
My 'white boy', my 'brother of life'
we miss your ever bubbly spirit-nothing ever got you down even when we can no longer share laughter anymore,The memories you left me would always bring a smile our faces.
We would forever cherish you!
We love you and would miss you!
Daniel, Ebi, Ireti, Edith and Clinton, the entire MICROBIOLOGY class of 2013 uniben and the entire Batch 'B' 2014 Odo-otin LGA, Osun state.
Rest in Peace, Evans. You probably were too good for this world. RIP "
Hmmmm..... tears still rolling down my eyes as I type this. went through his pictures few days ago on facebook, Saw his handsome swagilicious pictures on his whatsapp profile picture and was even waiting for a right time to tell him to come feature on our Alex Enoyore Blog but death has taken him away.
