25,000 men of God including pastors, evangelists, bishops will hold a prayer session for the APC presidential candidate, Buhari and his vice president, Prof Yemi Osinbajo in Lagos.
The prayer session will take place on
Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos state.
According to the coordinator of the programme, Bishop Kayode Williams, the men of God will come together to seek divine intervention for the people’s general and his vice so as to emerge as the winner in the forthcoming elections.
Bishop Kayode said “We are four spearheading this prayer session: My humble self, Rev. Moses Iloh, Archbishop Magnus Atilade and Deacon Ayo Opadokun. We are against wrong information being fed members of the public about Buhari.
“For those of us that followed the track record of Buhari while he was in public service, we know that this man is not a religious bigot. Buhari is an upright man and not anti-Christ as some people want to portray him,
“While describing the prayer session as a unique event, Williams implored Nigerians not to use religion to confuse people or to divide Nigerians.
“First and foremost, we should see ourselves as one. We are all Nigerians. We should not allow politics to divide us or cause bitterness among us. We should love one another. It is wrong for anybody or group to say Christians are against Buhari – to us, Buhari is a righteous Nigerian, and Christianity preaches righteousness, and we want righteous people in “leadership, and this is why we are organizing this”

I smell conspiracy. Let. These men of God telll me their accounts have not been credited. Our Lord Jesus Christ never got engaged in politics. He even warned against such.
ReplyDeleteWho later prosecuted him?
Smh! Instead of praying for the country at large, they singled two men out.
Politics involves all the things God kicked against: Idolatory, lies, blooshed (directly or indirectly), false witness etc.
The demons are already refilling the charcoal in their portions in hell.
I share your plight. It is unreasonable and doesn't tell good of the Christian faith.
