There are reports making rounds that Big Brother Hotshots 1st runner-up, Tayo has received a whooping USD350,000 from Nigerian billionaire Ayiri Emani, as compensation for losing out on the Big Brother Hotshots grand prize of USD300,000 – which was won by Tanzania’s Idris on Sunday, December 7.
According to the reports, the Warri-based businessman is also fan of the much loved Tayo and had vowed to pay him
much more than the slated $300,000 prize money in case he did not win.
However, speaking on Radio 1 South Africa, Tayo denied the claims, saying he is disturbed by the news that he got such amounts of money yet he doesn’t even know who the man is.
According to him, people will see that and think he is rich while he is not. He therefore pleads with fellow Nigerians to stop posting lies about him on internet as it’s closing help that might come to him.
Tayo also said that he is friends with Idris and he’s actually going to Tanzania as soon as possible.
