I'm Commemoration of the 57th Independence anniversary of Ghana, a football match was slated for yesterday. 6th march between the Nigerian film body NOLLYWOOD headed by the Actors Guild of Nigeria and Ghanian movie body Ghollywood.
The Nigerian team was represented by popular stars like Mr Ibu, Patience Ozorkor, Desmond Elliot, Mercy Johnson, Osoufia, Aki & Pawpaw, Victor Osuagwu and others.The Ghanaian counterparts was represented by the likes of John Dumelo, Majid Michel, Prince David Osei, Agya Koo, Akrobeto, Lil Wayn, James Gardener, Jackie Appiah, Nana Ama Mc Brown and others.
Nollywood stars lost their game against their Ghanaian counterparts. They were beaten 3-1 by the Ghanaian actors in a fun-filled game.
Ghana opened scores in the first 20minutes of the match and scored another in the second half. Sopiriye Fiberesima scored the only goal for the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
Van Vicker left the match injured in the first 10 minutes of the match while Fred Amata left the field injured few minutes later.
Chigozie Atuanya held the goal for Nollywood in the first half while Hanks Anuku was betwenn the poles in the second half.
